I am trying to trace my birth mother. The details I have are that I was born on 30th November 1971 in Carlisle Cumbria. I was named Faith Gibson at the time of adoption. My mother was Caroline Gibson and my father was apparently someone she knew from the merchant navy (name unknown). She was approximately 23 in 1971, I have a picture of her taking part in a local beauty contest but further details are unknown. She was/is deaf
