Hello,I have recently found out that I have a full brother that was adopted at a very young age.I really don't know how I'm supposed to go about finding him so please bear with me.His name was Mark Carter and he was born on 11th July 1968.Birth mother's name Iris Carter.I think initially he was fostered to a family in the Caversham area of Reading. If anybody could please spare the time to point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.Money is a slight issue at the moment so ideally I'm requiring fee sites etc.Thank you very much in anticipation of your help.Louissa

Hi, you need to contact the General Register Office Tel: 0151 471 4830. You have to have your name put on the Adoption Contact Register. That way if your brother is registered on Part 1 of the register they can inform you that a match has been made. Hope this is useful to you.
