Maurice Griffiths ?????

I´m searching for Maurice Griffiths who in the early 1960's lived in Tollemache Street in Wallasey, Cheshire, UK. As a young lad he fell into the boating lake at the Tower Ballroom and lost conciousness. My Dad, Eric Gates, who managed the Tower Ballroom, turned up early for work and saw him, wading in to rescue young Maurice. My Dad's now 91, and he is not in the best of health. He showed me the newspaper cutting (Liverpool Echo) of the incident and commented that he would like to know what happened to Maurice.
