FAQ

The following FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) provide you with further information about the UK People Search site, and how you can interact with us.

  1. Can you personally help me find someone?
  2. Can you remove my name drom your database/list?
  3. How to submit a site?

Can you personally help me find someone?

At this stage, no. Unfortunately due to many other commitments we do not have the time available to assist you with your search. This may change at a later stage but for now we can not offer assistance. There are many free resources you may use to help you with your search, and we advise that you try these first. If you have no luck, you can also post a message to the registry requesting assistance as there may be others willing to help out.

Can you remove my name drom your database/list?

The only database or list that we maintain is the people search registry. This is a double opt-in registry, so unless you have registered, you are not on any database that we maintain. If you wish to opt-out of the registry, there are menu options within the registry to allow you to do this yourself.

If you wish to be removed from databases found through the resources on this site, you will need to contact the owners of the site/database in question directly, as we are not responsible in any way for their content.

How to submit a site?

These guidelines have been established to help give you the best possible chance of being listed on ePeopleSearch.co.uk.

  1. Be direct and informative with the description of your site. DO NOT talk yourself up by using words such as best, greatest, ultimate, etc.

  2. Do not use HTML in your submissions

  3. Submit your site only to the appropriate categories. If your site does not fit the categories on this site, but you feel it is relative to finding people, contact us, and we will set-up a category for you.

  4. Do not add multiple pages as different sites. One Web Site equals one listing, unless you have something extremely unique at a separate location on your site.

  5. Do not add multiple domains hosting the same or extremely similar site or business. This will result in all your sites being excluded.

  6. The title of your link should be the official name of the site or business. Do not attempt to stuff the title or description with keywords.

  7. Do not submit sites where the main purpose is to promote affiliate programs or ppc ads (i.e. Adsense).

We will always reserve the right to reject any site for any reason we deem appropriate, including for reasons not listed here.

To submit your site for inclusion on ePeopleSearch.co.uk, complete the contact form and include site details including site name, url, and a description. We also appreciate a link to our site.
